The Power of Radical Acceptance

There was a time when anger felt like my whole personality. I was tired, hurt, and constantly fighting systems that didn’t care if I made it or not. But everything shifted the first time someone met me with actual acceptance — not judgment, not lectures, not “fixing” me. Just acceptance.Harm reduction showed me that people don’t grow because they’re shamed. They grow because someone gives them space to breathe. That simple truth changed my entire life. Now I try to show up for people the same way someone once showed up for me.
